From November 19 - 21, this year's National 4-H Poultry and Egg Conference was held during the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Ky. with Florida being represented in one of the contests.
"The National 4-H Poultry and Egg Conference recognizes senior 4-H members...who have excelled in their state 4-H poultry learning activities. The overall objective is to offer national level activities and contests designed to introduce participants to poultry and the poultry industry," notes the event's website. The conference is unique as it includes tours, a workshop and social events in addition to competitions.
