What is the Sunshine State Cup?
The Sunshine State Cup (“SSC”) is an awards program for youth who compete in judging contests throughout the season to be recognized.
The purpose of the SSC is to recognize top youth livestock judging team members in Florida who may not win the state championships, but have continually proven they are competitive with high scores at contests around the state.
The SSC awards points to youth who compete in approved livestock judging contests around the state all season long using a formula based on the scores they receive divided by the number of classes they judge. Points are also awarded based on a youth's individual placing if they place in the top 10 individually.
For the inaugural 2018 - 2019 season, the SSC will be on an individual basis, no team scores or placings will be considered or tabulated.
